
AGREEMENT

On admission, students are asked to sign a copy of the following College Agreement, which sets out how we will work together to promote your child's learning and development. You can download the agreement from the link below:

The College will:
Value and care for each student as a unique individual.
Aim to provide the best possible education for every student, meeting his or her individual special needs.
Give parents information about the student's progress.
Inform students and parents about college activities and what students will be experiencing each term.
Share information about the College’s Behaviour Policy and explain the policy on the use of physical intervention.
Provide homework as appropriate.
The college will provide a home-school dairy to be used for daily written communication between teachers and parents/carers.
The Student, with support from their Family, will:
Attend College regularly and inform the College when they will be absent.
Attend Annual Reviews and Open Evenings to discuss progress.
Work with the College to promote positive behaviour and encourage the student's development and, by signing below, indicate their understanding of and agreement with our Behaviour Policy.
Share with the College (in confidence if necessary) major events at home that may affect their emotions.
Share with the school, the involvement of any professional help to ensure we work together for the student's benefit.

Together we will:
Enable every student to develop to his or her full potential.
Help our students develop a sense of responsibility and respect for all other people.
Encourage students to believe in themselves, raise their self-esteem and take pride in their environment.
Share any concerns or problems affecting the student.
Discuss and deal with complaints.
Ensure close liaison between home and College on all issues relating to the student.
